Today we are going to explore a few places in Beaufort, NC. At the Beaufort Maritime Museum there is some interesting history about the Blackbeard the pirate along with some really cool artifacts from his ship Queen Anne’s Revenge. Next up is a stop by one of North Carolina’s oldest Cemeteries called The Old Burying Ground. There are so many old graves with the oldest marked headstone being from 1756. There is a soldier buried standing up with his boots on so he could still salute King George III. There is a cool story about a little girl buried in a glass top casket. Watch the video to find out about that story. We also have to mention the girl buried in a barrel of rum. Next we went to The Hammock House – rumour says Blackbeard the Pirate stayed at this house. If you watch the video you might also see a house that has a very cool thing in their yard. Come along and watch the video to see all this interesting stuff. Subscribe Here
